Responsibilities & Key Result Areas:
* Overall responsible for leading the team and take complete ownership to understand the requirement, co-ordinate with clients/onsite co-ordinator, design, build, test, deploy and support of the project
* Top level technical contributor and has full technical knowledge of all phases of application/system analysis and programming and will have full, in-depth understanding of the business and the applications. Provides technical guidance around design and architecture.
* Mentor team members in organization of daily activities, review and advise on planning and risks, ensure quality testing and deliverables
* Drive continuous improvement of collaboration/model with a consultancy approach to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the team
* Develop reusable components. Record and publish benefits of reusable components
* Demonstrate thought leadership
Competencies – Technical / Functional and Managerial:
Technical / Functional:
* 4 to 6 years of overall exp in Data warehouse and 4+ years of professional experience in SAP BW.
* Hands on exposure in Implementation and Maintenance of SAP Business Warehouse Applications
* Strong exposure in SAP-BI areas like Extraction, Transformation, Reporting – must to have skills
* Strong exposure in Data modeling and Performance tuning– must to have skills
* Implementation of 2 SAP modules – must to have skills
* Experience in working with standard Infocubes, Multiproviders, Infosources, Infoobjects and ODS.
* Experience in support involving maintenance of Process Chains, data loads and resolving the errors.
* Solving tickets related to various areas like load failures, report issues & data inconsistency problems.
* Having experience in monitoring of data loading for master and transactional data on a regular basis.
* Good knowledge of various aspects of BW like Administration Workbench, Infocube design, ODS object design, Datasources, Infosources, Transfer rules, Update rules, Infopackages, Data Extraction, LO Cockpit, Data Load Management, Performance Tuning, Aggregates, Infocube Maintainence like Compression, Indexes, DB Statistics, Business Content.
* Knowledge on SAP Finance and HR and its implementation in BI is a must to have skills
* Strong knowledge in ABAP from BI point of view is must to have skills
* Exposure to estimation and task planning/allocation is must to have skills
* Knowledge on SAP CRM/ERP modules, SD module and their extracts are added advantage
* Knowledge of various Data Design Models – Star Schema and Extended Star Schema Models.Highly analytical, organized and process oriented, ability to work effectively in fast paced environments – must have skills
* Willingness to work in support team
Managerial:
* Good inter-personal & communication skills – must to have skills
* Attention to detail
* Very good client orientation skills and experience talking to client – must to have skills
* Ability to mentor and groom the team.
* Take training on SAP-BI areas with the team
