| Job Description |
DNS – Change management:
* Skills: CCNA/CCNP, with core Networking skills & BGP protocol with Change management experience.
* Support of the operating systems and hardware for over 4,000 switches and routers.
* Create and manage progress spreadsheets and develop flowcharts in order to document procedures for all staff members
* Performing the IOS upgrades of switches, routers, and maintain backup and recovery procedures
* Perform quarterly password changes.
* Configure secure SSH authentication to all heritage devices.
* Monitoring devices for hardware issues, diagnosis of hardware issues and coordination of repairs with the Service Desk and other groups.
* Troubleshooting of OS \ IOS issues.
* Requirement for overlapping shift work Monday to Friday, and possibly Saturday and Sunday hours.
* On Call availability 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to address major hardware and operating system problems |
