| Job Description |
Job description:
* To manage the Program Management Office at eGovernment Authority.
* To supervise the PMO team that includes Sr. Program Specialists, Program Specialists and Sr. Program Coordinator.
* To coordinate with Directors / Directorates for smooth functioning of the program.
* Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the PMO are effectively and efficiently coordinated and implemented.
* Define and manage the Project Management Life Cycle and all related processes and templates.
* Ensure compliance to PMLC and all related processes and templates for all projects.
* Evaluate Project Charter and Project Plans and Schedules for new projects.
* Regularly monitor each project under the program and advise corrective action for the teams as required.
* Regularly Monitor and Evaluate Risks and Issues for all the projects.
* Ensure mitigation of Risks and resolution of Issues across all projects.
* Manage dependencies among inter-related projects at eGovernment Authority.
* Report progress and health of the Program to the Leadership Committee.
* Manage the Program Management Tool (MS EPM).
* Recruit, mentor and motivate the staff at PMO
Career level:
Management
Skills:
* Experience in project and program management, handling and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to get synergetic outputs -preferably in a government organization, knowledge in government processes of various departments and service delivery. Relevant experience of working in a PMO or as a head of a PMO will be preferable.
* Candidate must have strong leadership and communication skills.
* Proficiency in English language is essential.
* Proficiency in Arabic language is desirable |
