| Job Description |
* 4 to 6 years experience as a localisation engineer or localisation tools administrator.
* Ability to remotely administer a Translation Management System installed on a Windows Server.
* Working experience of the following an advantage: Jboss, jBPM (Workflow), MySQL, OpenLDAP, Windows Server 2003.
* Experience working with source controls systems such as CVS and SVN.
* Experience working with Translation Memories and automated localisation workflows.
* Expert in localisation tools such as Alchemy Catalyst, Idiom WorldServer, GlobalSight.
* Experience dealing with OpenSource products and the OpenSource community, GlobalSight experience in particular would be an advantage.
* Have an understanding of development processes and programming languages.
* Be capable of scripting to automate engineering processes where appropriate, e.g. Perl scripts or writing batch files. |
