GENERAL SUMMARY:
This individual will participate in the architecture, design and implementation of security controls surrounding the processes supporting the business. The candidate should have a solid understanding of Security and Risk Management as it relates to network, application, database, infrastructure control implementations, regulations, statutes, third parties and other threats to the business. This will be demonstrated by a combination of work experience, training, and certification programs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Strong technical background in data loss prevention, encryption, lab environments, intrusion detection/prevention, network gateways, routers, multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), VPNs, application layer firewalls, content filtering, and encryption.
* System Development Lifecycle (SLDC) knowledge.
* Production support and system administration experience.
* Familiar with database reporting (SQL, Oracle).
* Familiar with workflow and content management systems.
* Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance tools and/or business, continuity software tools preferred.
Full understanding of Risk Assessment processes and procedures including third party and site assessments. Understanding and previous use of CobiT, ISO27001/2. Understanding of FAIR, OCTAVE, and other risk assessment methodologies.
* Full understanding of incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity including business impact assessments.
* Strong understanding of PCI, SOX, FISMA, International regulations and other regulations and statutes
* Understanding of consumer security issues and requirements
SKILLS:
* Strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate with teammates on requirements, design, and implementation work.
* Candidates must be proactive, detail-oriented and have the ability to recognize/solve data problems and inconsistencies.
* Strong time management, planning coordination skills and ability to manage multiple projects
* Strong Problem solving & Negotiation skills
* Self-Starter with a passion for driving projects to completion
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with solid presentation skills |
