| Job Description |
The candidate needs to have good experience in Automation testing.
Primary Skills:
* Strong experience in Storage domains and concepts.
* Hands on Experience in Storage Area networks and Storage Arrays.
* Experience in Installation and multiple OS level debugging techniques.
* Excellent in testing principles and techniques.
* Strong experience in test management. Test plan creation and arriving test cases from use cases and product knowledge.
* Excellent system troubleshooting/debugging skills, Problem solving and ability to work independently and support the team.
* Strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Must demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and achieve results in a geographically dispersed team.
* Seeks assistance when needed, demonstrates self-initiative.
* Implements work-plans and schedules as assigned
Desired Skills:
* Knowledge in C and/or C++ programming skills
* Knowledge in SDLC process.
* Knowledge and experience in networking concepts
* Experience at both user and administrative levels on multiple computer platforms (Windows, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Linux)
* Exposure to any of the industry standard defect tracking tool (i.e. Rational ClearQuest, Clear DDTS etc.)
* Exposure to Test Director or Mercury Quality Center (Test Management Tool) is an added advantage |
