Job Description:
* Unix experience – Candidates must have some knowledge of Unix commands and architecture.
* SQL experience – Candidates must have some experience in writing and running sql scripts against Oracle databases.
* Incident Tracking/Reporting experience – Candidates should have experience in entering, escalating, re-assigning, and resolving problem tickets, i.e., Peregrine, Remedy, or some other system.
* Multi-cultural exposure – Candidates will hopefully have some experience dealing with non-Indian customers; Email, bridge calls, shared project responsibilities, etc., are all fine as long as they have interacted successfully with a foreign culture.
* Command Center experience – It would be beneficial if the prospective candidate has already been exposed to a GCC environment.
* Mentoring/Training – It would be good if the candidate has mentored and/or trained subordinates (or peers) in (best) Control-M but also company policies, procedures, culture, etc., is useful.
* Control-M specific skills that a candidate may include in their resume:
1. Monitoring and standard job manipulation skills, i.e., holding, freeing, killing, demanding, forcing jobs, changing properties of jobs
2. Knowledge of the Control-M architecture at the file system level
3. Knowledge of the Control-M architecture at the database level
4. Experience in starting/stopping the application
5. Knowledge of the installation process for agent and/or server s/w
6. Knowledge of the use of job definition resources
7. Code migration and enforcement of standards |
